Description
This tour combined tracking of the forest Gorillas in the southwestern corner of Uganda in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park with a wildlife safari to the best game parks of Uganda. You will enjoy and experience nature, wildlife, habit and habitat of the fauna and flora on the natural areas.
Trip Plan
Day 1: Leave Kampala
In the early morning at 0600hrs, drive from Kampala with your packed lunch to either Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park or to Mgahinga Gorilla N.P. via Mbarara. You will arrive to the gorilla reserve in time for dinner and overnight. In tented camp. FB.
Day 2: Gorilla viewing
Breakfast in the camp followed by walking through the device forest and meets a whole family of Gorillas. Your guides will advice the time to spend watching gorillas, times for your picnic lunch and time to return to your Tented camp for Dinner and overnight. FB.
Day 3: Forest
Breakfast followed by a days walk through the forest and then to the local villages, lunch picnic, dinner and overnight in your Tented rest camp. FB.
Day 4: Gorilla’s Reserve – Queen Elizabeth N.P
After breakfast, take a short walk, then checkout and drive to Queen Elisabeth for lunch and afternoon relax at leisure at the lodge/ camp. Accommodation booked on full board arrangements FB.
Day 5 & 6: full day Queen Elizabeth N.P.
Breakfast followed by both morning and afternoon game drives in the Park for 2 days. Look for lion, elephant, buffalo, bushbuck Uganda kob, and Giant forest Hog, visit Kazinga channel to see the scores of hippos buffalo close to the waterside often elephants and rare leopard prowling, you will have all meals and overnights in your lodge/ camp FB.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth N.P – Kibale forest N.P.
After breakfast, drive to Kibale forest National Park that famous for its enormous variety of primates, and its families of about 12 species of primates are fund here including the Chimps. The Park is one of the highest primate densities in the world, your half day guided walk in the forest will be enough to explore and experience bush life, and the extraordinary diversity of a tropical paint nest and enjoy the chimps and red colobus monkeys chattering and swinging from freer to freer. After lunch proceed to Queen Elizabeth N.P. for dinner and overnight in lodge. FB.
Day 8: Kibale – Paraa – Murchison falls.
In the morning at 0830hrs after breakfast drive thru Hoima to Paraa. Proceed to the Murchison falls National Park viewing game enroute and lunch on the way. You will arrive in Paraa in the early afternoon and after lunch take the ferry for your accommodation on the other side of the Nile. Afternoon relax at leisure waiting for dinner and overnight. FB.
Day 9: Murchison falls N.P.
Breakfast followed by a trip to the Murchison falls described as being Regent Park 200 and Kew Gardens combined, viewing game enroute close by Hippo pods, crocodiles, big number of exotic birds and butterflies, shoe bill stock and Elephants. The falls out of Africa’s wonders, the whole of the Victoria Nile bursting majestically thru. 6 meters gap to an awesome 40 meters drop. In the afternoon proceed with game drives in the park to look out for lion, Giraffe, elephant, Uganda kob, antelope, and vary variety of eagles. You will have all meals and overnight in your lodge. FB.
Day 10: Murchison falls National Park - Kampala
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and B4 proceeding to Kampala view the falls from the top and experience this massive rush of water at close quarters by taking the pathway to the base of the falls and back up.
