Gorilla Tracking: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi can be strenuous therefore ensure physical fitness to bring jungle boots and rain jackets because the park is often wet.
Day 1: Early morning after breakfast start from Kampala takes you south west and cross the equator, you drive through Savannah grasslands, seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle. You then ascend into Kigezi highlands with terraced farming and mountain scenery.
Day 2: On arrival at Buhoma; Register at the gate, pay your entrance fee Enter the sanctuary at down and enjoy the beauty and freshness of the forest, home of the Uganda Mountain Gorillas. After a short briefing by the guides at 8:30 am – 9:00am. Proceed through the dense impenetrable forest to trek for these endangered animals, other primates aim live in the forest including the black and white colobus monkey, the blue monkey and the red failed monkey. Return to the camp for overnight.
Day 3: Re-enter the forest for a second exciting of Gorilla trekking the occasionally lasts the whole day. Return to the camp for overnight.
Day 4: Depart from forest for Lake Bunyayi. Lake of little Birds renowned for its variety and abundance of avian enjoy a cause vide on this beautiful narrow Lake surrounded by green hills.
Day 5: Return to Kampala
Note: This package can be reduced to a 3 day Gorilla express.
